Learn who we are, what we stand for and how we support young people to build safer, brighter futures.
Our Mission
Anchor was set up to help young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs build positive futures by offering high-quality, therapeutic and personalised care within warm, supportive homes that truly feel like their own.
Anchor Care and Education was created to better support young people facing emotional and behavioural challenges, building an organisation rooted in dignity, opportunity and genuine care for every individual.
At Anchor, we provide tailored, consistent support that helps young people rebuild stability and confidence after difficult experiences. Our teams work closely with each individual to understand their needs, re-establish routine and reconnect them with education, family and positive relationships. Through patient guidance and therapeutic care, we help young people move forward with safety, trust and a sense of belonging.

We provide personalised, consistent support to help young people feel safe, valued and understood.
Therapeutic Consistency
Healing isn’t an event — it’s woven into daily life. With the guidance of our in-house Therapy & Wellbeing Manager, therapeutic principles (like PACE and CPI) are embedded into every interaction.
Small, Nurturing Homes
Each of our homes accommodates no more than 2–3 young people, offering calm, characterful spaces in peaceful rural settings — ideal for emotional regulation and personal development.
The Anchor Challenge Pathway Plan (PTPP/ACPP)
A co-produced, outcome-focused plan tailored to each young person’s unique needs and aspirations — supporting them to build practical life skills, heal from trauma, and achieve independence.
Wraparound Education & Enrichment
With dedicated education coordination, we ensure every young person has access to meaningful, personalised education and enriching real-world experiences.
