Do I need previous experience in residential care to apply?

Not always. We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds. Full training is provided, and many of our staff have joined us without prior experience. What matters most is your values, resilience and willingness to learn.

What training and development do you offer?

All new staff receive a thorough induction followed by ongoing specialist training, including trauma-informed practice, safeguarding and behaviour support. We also offer clear progression routes into senior and management roles.

What is the working pattern in the homes?

Most roles follow a rota pattern that includes a mix of weekday, weekend and occasional evening shifts. This structure ensures consistent support for young people while offering predictable scheduling for staff.

What qualities are you looking for in applicants?

We look for people who are patient, compassionate, reliable and confident in supporting young people who may have experienced trauma. Strong communication, teamwork and emotional resilience are essential.
